Ah, you've found my husband's song! Forgive me if I've already talked about this with you (I've been writing to so many people recently around the World Photography Day - my head is spinning), but my husband, Larry Beckett, wrote the lyrics to Song to the Siren, and This Mortal Coil's version brought the song to the limelight again (Original by Tim Buckley, my husband's long time dearest friend).

This Mortal Coil has such great sound!! Love what they did.

BBC4 is going to do a show on Song to the Siren. I think it will air in December. They're interviewing my husband next Monday - I have to set up the microphone etc! I'll do my best.

How did you come across This Mortal Coil?

I've 'subscribed' to your playlist on youtube. I'm crazy busy now, but I would like to share musical things. If I don't come back here to do that after a couple weeks, send me an ipermail to remind me!

But I put here now that I am a Bob Dylan fan (among many other people and genres of music!). If that puts you off - well, so be it. I still can have him. Songs like 'Dark Eyes' and 'One More Cup of Coffee' really bring me happiness, especially the violin along with rock music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujgqOgMIwfA&ab_channel=NetflixFilmClub so sensual.
