I know it's not crystal clear etc. but I couldn't go out to take the picture, so this is from my couch.
I'd ordered some plates for the resin pendants to be on, but I misunderstood the sizing!!!! Typical of me - I tend to forget to look at sizes and anyway it was in metric and 12mm sounded large to me!!! It's not!!! Well they arrived yesterday and I was shocked at how small they were, but not to be downcast, I realised that they are the right size for earrings. So I thought I'd make earrings to match the pendants - good idea or what? They were so easy to make too and I was able to make 3 pairs yesterday and 5 pairs today!!!
I am so pleased that they've turned out like this - and it means I can easily make a pair to go with nearly all the necklaces.
Well once I'd finished off my day's work, I looked out of the window and this is what I saw.......
I am so blessed to have such a lot of beauty around me. Unfortunately the severe winds and rain have totally ruined the lilacs - they've either been knocked off their branches or have turned horribly brown and yucky!!!!! At least the laburnum has managed to stay beautiful and as I have about 3 trees in the same area, they do make a beautiful scene.
The warm sunny weather did help the indoor plants to bloom and they do seem to have taken over the windows!!!
As you can see there are more geraniums on the way. They are absolutely brilliant - forever producing blooms so these two plants have been flowering for around 2 months and there are more and more on the way!!!
Pippin loved the fact that I'd got the window open, it saves him time going through it, rather than having to go through the kitchen, the cat flap and then around the outside of the house to the lawn. When I was younger (much younger in fact) - I used to go through the open window too, as did my mother when she was younger. I just wish I was agile, it would save me a lot of walking and trying to stop being giddy, just so I could sit outside on the garden bench. Never mind though - it was bliss being able to have it open all day..
Pippin didn't realise I was taking his picture, because my usual small camera isn't usable at the moment, the battery charger won't work, so I used my older camera which has an incredible zoom lens - he was about 15 feet away from me when I took this picture.
Well I hope tomorrow will be just as wonderful, so I can have the window open and I can enjoy fresh air. I'll hopefully make more pendants and earrings!!! I do so love this craft, but I've got so many, I really must start selling them!!! LOL
Have a wonderful week, please take care and stay safe.

As always your flowers are amazing!
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to GracieThe flowers in the house have gone rampant - maybe I should tell Emily not to give them a feed anymore!!! LOL
That is a lovely view Jenny, and yes you are lucky though over the years, I imagine a lot of work went into the garden. Time to enjoy it now.
It's lovely here too, with some much needed sunshine. We only have a small opening of the lounge window, so no climbing out of that lol.
Lovely photos, and a great one of Pippin.
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to Bee OrchidYes I'm really pleased with the one of Pippin, he had no idea that he was having his picture taken. It's got warmer, just not as warm as other parts of the country. I think it's because of the winds from the Atlantic.
I LOVE the earrings!! They are so beautiful! Looks like you were SUPPOSED to get the wrong size plate, because now you have all these super earrings!
Reminds me of when I was younger and first got my ears pierced. I collected earrings like mad! In fact, I had strings on one wall that I supported with tacks and hung my earrings there to admire. I wore different pairs every day and picking what I would wear was such fun. Such a predicament--which should I wear today?! But alas, something about wearing all of those earrings made my ears overly sensitive and at first I wouldn't be able to wear earrings with this metal, then that metal too, and on and on until not even hypo-allergenic wiped with alcohol were tolerated--or any type of special materials that weren't supposed to bother my ears. BUMMER. I haven't worn earrings for many years now. It's too bad--I try to wear them every once in a while but must remove them almost instantly because my ears begin to itch like mad. And I can't stand clip ons or those other kinds that you put on the edge of your ear...so no earrings for me. But I do love them so thank you for the show!
