Who and what am I
3.
- The Spirit -

Alino and Alina had already talked a lot
about the spirit and the spiritual in their last conversations.

This made Nina and Nino even more curious.
Didn’t Alina say:
» This is just a small, initial view of the land of the spirit.
There is still much more left to say. «

It is a beautiful day and they are sitting on a bench after a short walk.
The green lawn is pleasantly calming.

» I feel -
that something is on your mind - Nino.
What are you thinking about? «
Alino begins.

» Oh - Alino - I’m sure
you know a great deal more about the spirit.
We would like to know more -
- don’t we, Nina? «
That’s right, Nino
Maybe you could tell us more about this subject.
I’m sure you used to be young
and curious like we are! «

» Oh yes - Nina -
We grow and evolve here on our planet too.
But where should I start?
« Alright - I’ll use a simple example.
I’m asking you:
Who taught you something and how did you learn it? «

» Well - at first it was our parents, Text and photos by Albert Jäger

then school the universities -
the trade schools
Generally speaking - Nino
The adults were kind of like transmitting stations
and you were kind of like receiving stations. «

» Yes - I suppose you could describe it like that.
According to your, and also our understanding,
the teachers did not become dumber,
and we – the students – always became a bit smarter.
That’s exactly that what your wife, Alina, said to us - Alino. «

» That’s true - Nino «

»Now -
your entire communication system has a spiritual structure,
knowledge increases without becoming less. «

» I understand that now - Alino -
But I do have another question on this topic.
What about time
could that also be a conceptual structure that man invented?
Because - I’ve often thought:
I can’t detect time -
the way we organize it - at all in my mind. «

» You are right - Nina -
You have day and night on your planet - light and dark.
That is the model you have for the natural categorization of time.
________________

A small interjection -
As you’ve already noticed here on our planet:
It is always light here,
we don’t have day and night.
________________

But back to you -
People wanted to divide up their days
And so they developed the sundial.

Different clocks for shady days and for the night.
You wanted to hear and even see time. «
» Yes – you humans are very resourceful -
You want everything to be clear «

And after a break:
» Something extremely substantial is also taking place in your mind.
For that, I need to elaborate a bit more:
In particular
You want to find your way in life.
For that, you need to save all that what
you’ve perceived with your senses,
including the non-material stuff, the thoughts and the wishes «

» Well - for that we have our brain.
Everything is saved there.
- as our scientists say- «

» Dear Nino - dear Nina -
your researchers are describing something.
Your brain is only a physical tool.
The memory is more «

» You will have to explain that to us in some more detail - Alino«

Many scientists want to gauge everything.
Categorizing things is their foundation.
- from light years to nanoseconds -
- from kilometers to nanometers -

And now for the fallacy.
Some people simple claim:
That what can’t be measured, doesn’t exist.
That is very haughty.

How do you, for example, want to
measure thinking and thoughts? «
There are many shorter waves
than you can establish at the moment.
You can’t measure thoughts,
even with your most precise measurement devices.

But a person – who thinks
knows - that he thinks.

He doesn’t need a measuring device for that. «

» Alino - I once heard the phrase:
"Cogito - ergo sum"
" I think therefore I am "
or
"I know - that I know"
Is that what you mean? «

» Yes - exactly - that is what I mean
However, in my view, I would have to say:
"I am - therefore I can also think "
Thinking is exactly that -
the non-material or the spiritual. «

» Oh - Alino -
that reminds me of something.
Our brain can be compared to the hard drive of a computer:
Everything is saved there and retrieved as needed «
» Only that your brain is always active - even when sleeping.

And now a short, but essential explanation.
The computer retains everything
that you’ve entered into it, in every detail.

It is exactly the same way with data retention in the brain.
But the brain - thinking
can only save the past in exact detail
Have you ever noticed that many scientists,
in particular historians, study your past?

Now you know how old the Earth is
- the geological eras -
- the history of many different peoples. -
Moreover, there are vast amounts of books and libraries.
But interestingly enough,
they can only make limited, if any,
statements about the future,
and then only about that what is possible:
precisely Nothing can be predicted «

» But - Alino -
every person plans for their future
at school – at university - in commerce.
Suddenly, there is talk of a ‘vision’ or a ‘dream’
There is even talk of a dream vacation - a dream figure
And for that reason, my question now
'What kind of energy does that bring about/ cause?
I find that very important «

» Dear Nino -
you are addressing something very significant.
Obviously, a person wants to and is able to think or imagine that.
He is, however, aware of the uncertainty.
And now something comes into play here -
you call that
possibilities or opportunities.

But - come now/ come along - let us take a break.
I see - that it’s enough for today.
I know of a nice place.

Together they saunter over to a beautiful lookout.
They calmly look down onto the river and the valley
Eventually Alino says:
» The river is flowing serenely down below -
- an allegory for our life -
And it leads us to continuously new perspectives -
You two are hungry for knowledge! «
