Took some more pictures of Connecticut Light & Power's work to rebuild 115kV transmission lines running from the Stevenson Dam to Waterbury and Watertown. The segment from Middlebury to Frost Bridge (345/115kV transmission sub in Watertown) has been completed and looks to be in operation now. New monopoles are going up for the Waterbury-Middlebury branch, and the Stevenson-Middlebury branch looks to be untouched so far.
One interesting thing I noticed about the new monopoles is that they all use brown insulators! No sky yuk in sight. I'll give CL&P a thumbs-up in the looks department!
