That's All
In 1952 Nat "King" Cole issued the single "That's All" (Alan Brandt - Bob Haymes) arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle. The next year it appeared on the album "This is Nat King Cole".
Ricky Nelson's cover reached the top fifty as the B side of "I'm In Love Again" in 1963. This is from the 1959 album "Songs By Ricky". Ricky's father Ozzie suggested the tune be recorded.
Bobby Darin issued his second L.P. the classic "That's All" album in 1959. Contained on these tracks are "That's All" (Alan Brandt - Bob Haymes - Clyde Otis - Kelly Owens) along with "Mack the Knife" and "Beyond The Sea". The release won Grammy awards for "Record of the Year" and "Best New Singer". The album was on the charts for a year and peaked at number seven. This release changed Bobby's career away from the likes of a teen idol. "That's All" was not released as a single.
It was never a big hit but this tune is smooth, then it's teen sweet then it swings!
