For many years Kodak was considered the pinnacle of imaging, film, amateur and commercial cameras and technology. In the seventies Eastman - Kodak advertised their Kodak Film with this television commercial. It was during this time that an engineer at Kodak, Steven Sasson invented the first digital camera weighing eight pounds and producing .01 megapixel in black and white.
Based on the commercial, Paul Anka released the single "Times of Your Life" (Roger Nichols - Bill Lane) from the album of that name. The song peaked at number seven on Billboard's Top One Hundred and topped the Adult Contemporary chart in 1975. A few years before this issue Paul's hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, the nation's capital, named Paul Anka Drive after the famous singer, composer and actor.
