Former big band leader Bobby Vinton took "Roses Are Red (My Love)" to the top of the charts in 1962. The Polish Prince is one entertaining act and is responsible for Epic Record's first number one then there came a time when he couldn't even get through the company door. According to Mr. Vinton he found the song in a reject pile.
