The instrumental "Delicado" was first recorded by the composer, Rio de Janeiro's Waldir Azevedo, in 1950 although his name was spelled "Waldyr" on the original Decca label and according to other sources it's "Valdir".
Canadian bandleader, conductor and composer Percy Faith and his Orchestra featured the harpsichord talents of Stan Freeman on this number one release from 1952. The single is from Percy's album "Delicado".
