Pat Boone's younger brother and Dot Records label mate, Nick Todd (Nicholas Boone) was first to record "Tiger" (Ollie Jones) in 1958. Label owner Randy Wood didn't want him to use the "Boone" name so Randy had it changed to "Todd" essentially "Dot" backwards. After a few years Nick left the music business for a career in social work.
Teen idol Fabian (Fabiano Forte) hit with "Tiger". This peaked at number three on Billboard. Fabian also had a lot of motion picture and television appearances to his credit. Composer Ollie Jones hit with "Send For Me" which you'll find elsewhere on ths blog.
