Online community manager

Join a young and passionate team, working on cutting-edge technologies in a great environment.

Missions

• Content creation - writing blog posts, newsletters, FAQ entries and communications materials for ipernity users.
• Social media marketing - creating, managing and growing the ipernity’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
• User relations – you will be responsible for user support - answering questions however they come in (contact form, Twitter, Facebook …) and managing any online feedback forums such as the ipernity Facebook page.
• Testing and bug reporting – you’ll spend each day a part of your time using the ipernity platform to detect possible bugs – you’ll also be the first to beta test new programs – you will report bugs and will remain concerned until their resolution.
• Interface between users and products managers – you’ll gather feedbacks from users and will be a force of proposal to improve ipernity and to design new services.
• Translation – since ipernity interfaces are created in French, you’ll be responsible of the quality of their translation into English.
• Analytics – you’ll use Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.

Profile / Skills / Qualification

• Native English/American speaking, fluent in French and ideally good practice of other European languages.
• Writing skills – a first experience with writing will be appreciated.
• Power user of internet and social networks.
• Social media experience – we are looking for someone who understands Twitter and Facebook for business.
• Talented, creative, passionate, rigorous, independent. Great time management skills, ability to multitask.
• Graduated from higher education.

Software engineer – front-end

• Implement new features and services from controller-level to user interface.
• Optimize existing ones, fix bugs, solve problems.
• Level 2 technical support, documentation.
• R&D activities.

Profile

• Talented, creative, passionate, rigorous, independent.

Skills

• Familiarity with Linux / Open Source environment.
• Expert in PHP / CSS / JAVASCRIPT / AJAX.
• Good knowledge of JAVASCRIPT frameworks (Mootools, jQuery, Prototype) and FireBug.
• Strong command of HTML / XML / JAVASCRIPT standards and specificities.

Profile / Qualifications

• Computer science education.
• Personal and/or professional experience in developing innovating Web applications.
• You are passionate of Web 2.0 (possibilities, APIs, ...)

Skills

• Familiarity with Linux / Open Source environment.
• PHP expert (or expert of an other famous web programming language).
• Strong understanding of Apache & HTTP / AJAX / and various network protocols.
• Good understanding of Web service architectures and server limits (under high load).
• Fluent in SQL (MySQL)

• Computer science education (engineer degree or similar).
• Personal and/or professional experience in developing innovating Web applications.

• User of social Web sites. You even play with their API.
