Interests:
I enjoy camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, looking at wildlife, hunting in season, growing vegetables, & beekeeping. I like both dogs&cats. I do not like spectator sports and do not even watch the superbowl or world series, but I enjoy playing basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, & handball. I never learned to play golf. I am a do-it-yourself man, and I do all my own carpentry, plumbing, electrical & other home repairs and projects. I like old cars, trucks & motorcycles, and have several old vehicles. My newest vehicle is 21 years old, and I do all my own repairs and restorations. Except the 18-wheeler which is nearly new. I do not have any show quality vehicles, but I enjoy going to classic car shows. I enjoy exploring rural areas of the south on my motorcycle, and just walking in the woods if I find a WRA or other place that is not posted private property.
Favorite music and artists:
I like country music from my youth, as well as some of the mainstream popular music of that era. There is very little of current popular culture that does not aggravate me.
Favorite movies and actors:
Any time that I spend in this sort of activity is devoted to watching DVD's of movies and TV programs from the 1950's thru the early 1970's. The Perry Mason series is my favorite.
Favorite books and authors:
I do not care too much for fiction, but I like to read the truth. I often find that what purports to be the truth is actually speculation. Most of my books are "HOW TO" manuals.
