World Photography Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography.
This group is a place for ipernity club members to participate in that celebration by sharing what they consider their best photo, their most special photo, the photo that means the most to them taken on August 19th.

In this group we will keep your memory alive with our contributions.
For those who have retired from full time employment and are starting or extending their interest in photography as part of retirement leisure. This group would also welcome members with disabilities. Any subject as long as it is not explicit or offensive. To help those who have just started in the art of photography please where possible include a brief description of your camera settings or enable Exif data.
1. search for an object or topic
2. take 50 different photos of it.
Allowed are new or not yet published pictures on Ipernity.
3. mark each picture of a series with x/50.
There is no time limit for the target 50/50.
The goal is 50 pictures, but don't worry, it's not mandatory.
You will not be banned from the group, if you don't reach the goal ;-)
Just see it as a personal challenge.

A still life is a work of art depicting inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which may be either natural (food, plants and natural substances like rocks) or man-made (drinking glasses, cigarettes, pipes, hotdogs and so on).
This group is about sharing photos of: Birds, Blooms, Butterflies, Dagonflies.
Light editing to crop, change brightness, sharpen, etc., is permitted. Heavy editing to combine two or more photos into one photo, add frames, text, etc. isn't permitted and these photos, as well as photos containg people and those not in the group title, are automatically deleted.
A Group for the photographs we all try to take One more Time to improve on last year’s attempt.
The subject should something that there is a limited amount of time to capture.
Examples:
A flower in full bloom only once in the year.
Wildlife that is only seen at certain time of year e.g. A Swallow in the Summer.
An annual event, one day in the year when there is a Carnival.
By its very nature this will be a slow growing group but only one photograph of each subject please
