Hohenpeißenberg

Hohenpeißenberg
When we have guests, we often make a trip to Hohenpeißenberg, a small mountain with a church, several restaurants, and a glorious view of the surroundings. The much bigger mountains, on the horizon, we never saw clearer.

Alps

Alps
A panoramic view of the Alps, as seen from our balcony. The past few days, the “Föhn” wind shared some marvelous mountain views with us.

Sunrise

Sunrise
I take many pictures which I say are of a sunrise, but you’ll rarely see the sun rise. For those who can’t believe my words: here, a full-frontal of the sun. (They say photographers should have the sun from behind, but that’s something I can’t believe.)…

Isar Valley and Alps

Isar Valley and Alps
Another early morning shot. Here the mist is still below us, but often it ascends and covers our house when the sun gets warmer. Views like this never last long.

Isar Valley and Alps

Isar Valley and Alps
This time of year, the sun and I rise almost simultaneously, and that results sometimes in me taking some air on the balcony.

Clouds over Isar Valley

Clouds over Isar Valley

Icking near Holzen

Icking near Holzen
One beautiful day last week, I took my camera to work. Surprisingly it wasn’t stolen, so I had the opportunity to dismount on my way home and shoot some pictures. The mountains are basically the same as always, but not seen from the usual balcony perspect…
