Double decker!

Think these are Cassida viridis as they're more uniformly green than C. rubiginosa + the edges of the pronotum are rounder.

Isn't it just the cutest thing?? We knew it was a beetle larva, but not sure which! Sheila nailed it with a Google search that evening and I was so pleased as the bloody nosed beetle happens to be one of my very fave beetles, so brilliant to find a larva!…

We were 'bugging' at Breney Common in Cornwall (in May) when there was this sound that got louder and louder, and this gorgeous plane loomed out of the clouds and flew over us! Wow! What a beauty!
