Stone Bridge, Bull Run

Stone Bridge, Bull Run
The Union troops crossed this bridge at the First Battle of Bull Run. When they were repulsed and retreated over this bridge, it was supposed to be absolute chaos.

The Confederacy would later destroy the bridge. It was rebuilt after the Civil War.

Judith Henry's House, Manassas
One of the first battles of the American Civil War took place in Judith Henry's fields. She was killed in the crossfire, aged 85.
