I thought this tender and loving, and risked a rapidly executed manual focus and exposure with the SMC 135mm lens and x2 teleconverter. Seems to work well in square aspect.

Shot from 30 feet away, manual focus and exposure. This image actually had amazing bokeh but it just doesn't show once processed.

Loved the tongue, it's a great focal point.

Carefully treated to give the foreground subjects a mono appearance and the deep bokeh between them was full of bright colour to give what I thought was an interesting visual juxtaposition.

The extreme bokeh is unretouched and straight out of the camera. Colour has been processed and two layers cross-faded.

Taken with my camera handheld in my lap and pointing at 90 degrees towards these two guys, this candid shot from Caffé Nero, Cambridge, is one that I thought amusing.

Walking along the Aldwych in London, I saw this beautiful Maserati GranTurismo S drive past and park. The light was going and I took a few shots. Hope you like this one, I tried to make it as movie-like as possible.

I've been both busy and distracted, so here's my first image of 2010. A mono shot with a deep tobacco tint that was taken very close to the subject with a manual Pentax 135mm lens wide open at f3.5 with a x2 teleconverter, giving huge bokeh.
