Again! Houses at the river in Monschau, seen from the church.
These Panoramas are way too time consuming!

Italian Restaurant
I should have taken this photo a little bit earlier. The sky is already too dark.

Bridge

Bridge
Not all buildings in Monschau are old. But they all become kind of spooky when it gets dark.

Hotel zum Stern

Hotel zum Stern
The small town of Monschau has a very nice medieval center. It is also crossed by two small streams, the many small bridges add greatly to the picturesque appearance. It is fairly touristy though, nearly every house is either a cafe a restaurant or an ant…

Don't Get Lost (Fisheye)

Don't Get Lost (Fisheye)
There are so many blend errors in this panorama. I really need a tripod and a panorama head!

Arched Hall

Arched Hall
This hall is considered a historic monument of industrial architecture. It was built around 1920.

Tower (Fisheye)

Tower (Fisheye)
I again had to do quite some painting. The sky was easy this time, but the wall on the lower left had missing pieces too. I think it looks kind of convincing. Walls seem to be easier to paint than clouds.

There is also a rectilinear version of the image.

Tower (Rectilinear)
Which one do you like better: the rectilinear projection or the fisheye projection?

Tower (Rectilinear, Looking Steeply Upwards)

Tower (Rectilinear, Looking Steeply Upwards)
Quick and dirty trial of a more dramatic projection and an unorthodox crop. Do you like it? There are also this and this image of the same tower with alternative projections.

The crop was inspired by this image from KliX.

Wires

Wires
The thing on the right reminds me of a guard tower, especially in combination with the barbed wire. But it's only some kind of power pole (I think).

This image would probably be a good subject for a HDR. The colors are a little extreme, and I manipulate…

Ruin

Ruin
One more panorama. Buying extreme wide angle lenses has become unnecessary, as long as the subject doesn't move.

Underpass
Should I do a different crop? The street light and the sign seem distracting.
