52/52: Reflection of Me

52/52: Reflection of Me
I DO STILL EXIST!!

Between computer issues and a January intersession public speaking course that met five days a week for three hours a day with lots of homework... I haven't had ANY free time to upload stuff here.

I have still been taking photos, I'm…

51/52: Window
Window of someone's Volvo.

Turns out, when I edit my photos from this week, I'll be done with my project.
I think I've decided just to do a standard 52 weeks for the New Year.
If I get bored or don't feel challenged, I sometimes start one on my birthday…

50/52: Building

50/52: Building
Only abstract in the most *cough* abstract sense of the word.
It was a very long, exhausting, indoors kind o' week.
Went with my manfriend to New York (Lynbrook - not the city,) he had some stuff in an auction. It was a long, but good trip. Definitely e…

Through my side mirror.

So, I managed to keep up with my project even in the hell that has been this past month.

Thanks for your support and encouragement. I plan to continue with only three weeks left.

There MIGHT be a trip to NYC in my future - we s…

47/52: Sand Shed(?)
So, I honestly don't know what this is. It's in one of the parking lots at GCC - it's the roof of a shed full of sand (I think?)

I made an appointment to meet with my mom's minister to talk about the eulogy on the 11th of last month.
He gave me like, two and a half hours of his time, we talked about life, we talked about my father and about my complicated relationship with him, all…

44/52: Leaves Through a Defrosting Windshield
So, I am behind in my project.

On the 1st of November, my father died after a month-long, very complicated illness.

I don't need anything at the moment, I'm well taken care of.

It just really sucks, but I'm carrying on to the best of my ability.

Buddha, my friend Colin's dog.

The three of us spent four days with one of Colin's friends from high school and her boyfriend. It was SUCH a good time. Beautiful place, great people, wow, so needed.

41/52: Rain on Glass Overhang
My father has been sick.
He spent a few days in the ICU, but is in a regular hospital room now.
We know some stuff, but they're still figuring things out, I don't understand what's happening. It's not dire, but I don't think we really know much long-term…

An old New Beetle.
It was filthy, not my lens...
Though my lens is filthy, too. Ugh.

The slump continues.

Two different shots of my iPad cover overlayed.

Another phoned in week, kinda, but I do actually sorta like it, though it's not really my thing.

Man, slump city.
And I am definitely behind.

Had my first day of school. I'm nervous, it's going to be a LOT of work, but that's probably good. My head's in a spot.

Went to my second cousin's wedding in Maine last weekend. The reception was at the Winterport Winery. REALLY delicious, lovely space.

Four days spent with family left me feeling nostalgic, revitalized, sad, frustrated, in pain from all the laughter, ho…
