Those were the wasted days of adulthood!

Those were the wasted days of adulthood!
On what occasion would real-life bears ever sit together in upturned baskets and hold wreaths, it's incongruous. Why are snickerdoodles the only food.

This lady had a record player in her house all through her childhood but never learned how to use it.…

"A tiger is a bumblebee is nothing," silliness of Albuquerque youths, out late hanging out among unhitched semi-trailers in gravel parking lots, wasting away their american lives.

Sometime they're gonna maybe discover that they wish they could get their youngness back!, so that they could do something better with it than what they did, those kids.

The grayed-out are not antigraffiti: Formerly the trailer read "CAROLINA."

I chopped off the Scrubbing Bubble part of the picture because I figured we've all of us already seen all of the drawings of Scrubbing Bubbles anthropomorphs that we're ever going to need to see probably.

Me, I am bored with all of the Scrubbing Bubble…

Gang of young urban ailanthus, unwelcome fireworks display.
These China-native "tree of heaven" Ailanthus altissima are an Invasive Species of Noxious Weed, and they've been working for years and years on taking over the entire N. American continent, among other continents.

It's good!

Look close, the art gets reflected a little bit in the mud puddles in the gravel.

The only thing I could think of that might have improved the scenery is maybe some dandelions.

I felt that the interpretive panels were maybe a bit too rah-rah re the history of the rise of bigrig transport in the U.S., but hey that's Detroit I guess huh…

This one's called "Going Out Mudding."
Gosh Detroit's inner-city's much-commented-upon reversion to ruralization and countrification continues to continue and continue!, as seen here.

Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory's years' & years' worth of visits from Michigander & Detroitoisie signatories to cactus.
I asked the Conservatory Attendant if the cactus had gotten trucked in from the edge of an Outer Phoenix housing development or someplace like that — already pre-carved by exurban disaffecteds — but no: It's the Michigan kids who carve up the plant specim…

The illustration of the burglarisation aftermath is a blowup & colourisation of a small black-&-white clipart that I remember seeing in sixteenth-of-a-page advertisements in the back pages of popular mags in the 1960s.

The favorite thing I like about plaunt conservat'ries is: the glass.
Per my having done Internet Research upon the City of Detroit's website, this Conservat'ry was "reconstructed" from 1952 to 1954, so I figure we can guess that the glass probably dates from that time period also?

That's a ton of years' worth of getting…

When you think of Brooks, think of people getting sliced up really really bad, just hideously bloodied all over, atrocious skinnings.

Ha ha, "Do you want me to make you a hamburger!," one of my favorite old concertina wire jokes.

Krackel candy bar or R. Krispies idea of this strange Detroit architecture.
This splendid thang was fashioned years ago from pieces of some kind of "stone crispies" material mixed with molars.

It's a wall I'd never like to see a wreckingball come at!, but bldgs in Detroit are ongoingly vulnerable to demo, as part of the city's…

Favourite old beloved Frederick Law Olmsted vistas across expansive lagoons of landscape architecture.
I felt that to set my eyes upon his creations was to instantly civilize myself. He carefully arranged for each tree to be reflected in his waters.

I wouldn't make the promise were it not an easy promise to keep.
