I'd like to see a skilled Arranger reproduce this in a vase.

Rope restraint of a wooliness of cactus.
In Detroit, Michigan, on May 11th, 2013, in the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory in Belle Isle Park.

The cactus isn't identified so I don't know what the hell it is; a succulent euphorb Euphorbia abyssinica is behind it.

Walking upstairs to the parking lot.
After I took the photo I tripped badly upon the stairs despite the attention-getting yellow stripes on their corners.

I'd like to see the little slope here get its pavement ripped out, to be replaced by a strip of lawn.

I was not tricked by the façade…

Good good longlasting pile of gravel for these trees.
That ought to shut them up for awhile. Some trees always seem to need to be crying and hollering for more gravel, well now are ya happy finally!

Banner to hide the unsightly chainlink from the tourists.
Detroit's got an imprisoned former mayor named Kwame but it wouldn't be right to assume that the "Kwame hearts Bubba" graffiti idea has got anything to do with that, I don't suppose.

Pink spheres were thought to be a good idea for a space filler between…

Façade idea for somebody's notion of a "first independence" in the form of a bank, of all things.
Plus a small bodybuilder on rollerblades, there at the right.

Is the independence supposed to be personal somehow, or what? Why do I always feel skeptical and suspicious, instead of hopeful.

This pic is from October 12th, 2013, and I noticed that First…

Wind or wend your way up to the security cameras.
The security cameras weren't originally part of this creation at the time of its erection in the 1970s.

As long as we're redesigning the sculptures of the past to suit ourselves, I'd like to see a statue put on top of it.

Nearly every street and road in the state of Michigan is falling apart and needs to be repaved, and I'd like to know how Clifford Street managed to get a pavejob. Is Clifford Street the most important street or road in Michigan!

The only thing I could think of that might have improved the scenery is maybe some dandelions.

I felt that the interpretive panels were maybe a bit too rah-rah re the history of the rise of bigrig transport in the U.S., but hey that's Detroit I guess huh…
