Heading south to the tip of the Ashizuri Peninsula, there wasn't much traffic. I think most took the Skyline and didn't follow the curvy coastal road. Through this stretch, the guard rails were solid with bundled rice.

Actually, these guys were on their way down while I stood at the top waiting for my turn. I should have brought gloves because it seemed the chains were always wet and muddy. This wasn't too far from the Sansou Shirasa.
