I like the quiff on top! It's strange that the geometry of their compound eyes seem to make the insect look like it's looking at you directly, isn't it?

Looks like someone's "get up and go" has got up and gone! This one is looking a little dejected. It is strange that the proboscis cover seems to have tiny "nostrils" on it.

Now that's not polite putting your tongue out in a picture! This one was a bit skittish, so I had to bribe it to keep still with a sweet drink. I'm not sure if it was appreciated, though, as it looks a bit bad-tempered.
