Thanks Martine - same to you!
(Actually our weekends are much like the rest of the week - the sheep still need milking/feeding/rescuing from flystrike just like every other day. But we will go to the 'open mike night' at the Grampus, our local pub, tonight.)
Thanks Martine: I think I need a translation!
My memories of Provence were of a daytime lullaby by the cigales and a night time chorus by the frogs (I asked my host where were the dogs that were barking...) We have toads on our farm and they are very reserved - only discreet croakings.
Hello, thank you for your visit and for your comments. Your pics are beautiful and I like the atmosphere and landscapes of your country...all is very nice...I know only London but I hope, one day, visit other of UK, because, I think it's very beautiful.
Call in for a cup of tea next time!
We are right in the top corner of Devon: so we have the benefit of the rocky Bristol Channel coast and the open surfing beaches of the Atlantic, both close by. And, of course the beautiful countryside between.
you live in Devon? I love that county so much!! I've been to Exeter, Plymouth Clovelly and Exmouth, soooo beautiful! And isn't Powderham Castle also in Devon??
