There is a huge difference between killing and murdering. To murder is a sin, with no debate. To kill is not always a sin, with lots of debate lately. In fact, I feel the difference is so significant that the Ten Commandments should read “Thou Shall Not Murder” vs. “Thou Shalt Not Kill”. Here’s my stance summed in one question. Is it a sin for a Police Officer or member of the United States Armed Forces to “kill” one bad guy who is attempting to “murder” 100’s of innocent law abiding citizens…
