Hi Tracy Lee. Yes thanks - I visted my daughter's art show and topped up with Proud Dad Glow! :)
I just uploaded a dozen photos of her display and made my first album here. The doc manager is a bit clunky (couldn't get out of the thing once I finished working in it, and had to close the browser window to escape and then log in here again - but on the second attempt I discovered a tiny "close" button at top left that returned me to my page), and the album description only shows the first paragraph of what I wrote, but I suppose the Ipernity people are working on stuff like this.
Wow, I didn't realize that was your daughter's work. They are beautiful! I was looking through them last week. You should be proud. It is a great feeling watching your children accomplish and succeed with their dreams. My daughter just got her iMDB listing. It is a start...
I haven't been around much for a few days. The week was a bit hectic, with submissions and stuff. I'm making the most of this quiet Sunday morning to catch up with friends.
Nice to get to meet another fellow Flickr expatriate from the UK !!! I haven't deleted my Flickr account although I have removed all my photos...Complete deletion awaits...soon ! I just want to wait to see if any others can be tempted across !
Hello! I'm just up the coast from you, too, in Plymouth.
Today is the first day I haven't followed anyone's link back to watch the censorship argument in the flickr forums. Haven't felt any urge to go there. I'm free! :)
Just read your goodbye in the U word. Congratulations. It's far, far better to be dis-associated from the system/s and hang on to the people. And the ones that matter will ultimately seek you out, or you them.
Thanks for your thoughts, lovely friends. I've been quite ill with horrible kidney pain. Having tests. Made it on holiday with the family last week anyway, and had a good time in a wheelchair. :)
