July 11, 2015Rosie and I gathered these findings today (July 10, 2015) and got to park in the new garage – as modern as any in America, first day open. We were told of the flags. There are 50 flag poles on each side of the walk. All or most flags have been given to the VA for this use. No one seems to know why that number of flag poles, or their arrangement. July 10, 2015Located in the city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the BOG, as it is affectionately called by locals, is on the shores of Lake Fayetteville, small as gardens go today, consisting of only 85 acres. Yet the botanical garden is as modern as tomorrow, and contains many beautiful and unique plants of the Ozarks – and beyond. Relatively new, construction began in 2004 with an opening date in 2007.
