Dear nittygritty,
Thank you for your visiting. And I admire your splendid ballet performance. It is unified with a background, and there seems to be it in a fairy tale.
You are too kind about my efforts. Ballet is a performing art so costume and telling a story is part and parcel of it. I have learned a great deal in my first nine months of ballet class and as my teacher says, one can get it right at any age - it just takes longer. Let's hope I have enough time left........
My 'godson' Daniil performed in Nutcracker last night in Tokyo. Was allowed ten minutes of footage of Act 2,No 2, and only appears at the end, but at least you see the fluffy pinks and baby blues of the costumes. My sound card is going so I can't hear the music well, but ...well, here is the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qENfH1xkM9A
Wanted you to take a look at this Japanese ballerina who won the Prix de Lausane this past summer. I know I didn't spell that correctly, but am exhausted. Thanksgiving day here, and I had to represent my tribe. Anyway, I think she is exquisite, Here is link before I forget it: Madoka Sugai www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM9LWpVB_mc
