This year my wife and I have joined the Seaford Natural History Society. We've been meaning to do so for a long time. I have resurrected my ipernity account largely as a vehicle for publishing albums of photos taken on SNHS walks, so that other society members can see a record of what has been found.
- August 22, 2013A different story on a second visit. 14 different butterfly species in two hours, most of them feeding on the Fleabane at the northern edge of a recently felled area. Plenty of Clouded Yellow and Brimstone. Also a weathered Silver Washed Fritillary at the southern edge of the clearing. Photos in my "Rowland Wood" album.
