Holyrood Abbey and Palace, Edinburgh, Scotland Holyrood comprises of many parts, in particular the palace and what remains of the abbey. The palace of Holyroodhouse sits at the bottom of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, and is still a working royal palace. A selection of paired images where I have managed to locate and photograph an individuals resting place and match it up with a likeness of them, either through painted portraits or stained glass. I will also include where there are double tomb effigies existing of one individual. This will be updated as and when I make such pairings.
