Chatsworth House is a stately home in Derbyshire, England. It is in the Derbyshire Dales, about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-east of Bakewell and 9 miles (14 km) west of Chesterfield. It is the seat of the Duke of Devonshire and has been home to the Cavendish family since 1549. Chatsworth has been selected as the United Kingdom's favourite country house several times.

During our trip to Europe, in 2010, we were lucky enough to spend a warm and sunny summer's day in North Yorkshire. Pickering was our 1st stop.

I took these photographs during our trip to the UK in 2010. Castle Howard is one of our favourite places in the world to visit, in our favourite county, of Yorkshire. I am still a Yorkshire lass, at heart, even though I am 'officially' an Aussie now!
