Joe, thanks for your words of welcome. I'm not sure why you say "unexpected"!!! Apart from the obvious concerns on censorship, your problems over at that other place just focussed my attention on how I had grown tired of the routine. This seems to be a nice place, and I must say I like the absence of Groups, which I always felt made that other place a bit of a rat race. What I have to figure out here though, is what is a contact, a friend, a member of my network.!!! I look forward to looking you up here.

thanks for the invite. still fresh and new, will try to get a hang of it. not too difficult so far. looks like a neat site with lots of services. Alot of things to try out. maybe i'll start to upload both flickr and here at the same time and see how well the organization tools here works.

joe, yes i too am seeing how things feel here, but having some familiar people arriving is nice. there are some things to work on here to make it better, but it's a decent start. and i like the multimedia aspect very much.

waiting to see how things pan out at flickr.. i am really not too hopeful, and some magic has been lost even if they fix things now.
