On ipernity, you are free to organize your docs in albums or not to do so! You can include photos, videos, music or any other type of doc in the same album. You can also add a doc to several albums.
Below are the different ways of creating an album and how to add your docs:

After selecting the files to be uploaded, click on "Choose an album".

With All-in-One editing (accessed from the Your docs home page):
Click on "albums" and then select an album from the list and add the doc to it.
Click [x] to remove it.
On a doc page:
Click on the "Add to album" icon above the document.
Clicking on [x] next to the album's name removes it from the album.
Removing a document does not delete it!
To create an audio or video playlist, add your documents to an album and then view the album in multimedia mode (you will find the link at the bottom of the album).
To put the documents in the right order, click on the "change order" icon above the album.

By default, your albums are ordered according to their date created (the latest first).
You can change your albums display order, using the DocManager:
1) launch the DocManager (through "My Space" / "DocManager" menu);
2) click the "Albums" tab;
3) then move albums with your mouse to get the display order you want.
So easy!
Go to the album, click on the "delete" icon and choose "This album only".
The album will be removed, but your documents will not be deleted.
There's nothing like a slide show with a musical background!
And it's dead easy :)
Just add an audio file to the album and it will play throughout the slide show. Better still, if you add several audio files, they will automatically play in order.
