So you are with open eyes, and the picture is born in your mind - you capture it, then make it visible to yourself, and to others. Everything works like this for a photographer. But a poetic photographer artist adds something plus - him/herself, his or her individuality.
Now a real classic poet doe the same but in written text.
Let's combine these powers.
Plan "A": the winner of each compo have to start a new competition by writing us a part (or full) written poem (text) by anyone (or by him/herself). Competitors should post an image, which they think is the most suitable for the text or for the mood that certain poem means or gives to them.
The compo is valid trough 2 weeks, the image size is small, and only 1 shot/player. After closing uploads, 1 week is for voting by serial numbers, wich should be added under each photo (ex. #1, #2 ...) Would be nice to tag the photos with "GVP-C1", where the number is the number of compo where it was uploaded. The winner cannot upload photo to the next compo, only he/she chooses the poem for it. Language: only in english please!
Everything is allowed, except pornography and racist or disgusting shots pls.

Competiton No.1.
Rainer Maria Rilke (Austria, 1875-1926)
The Panther
His vision, from the constantly passing bars,
has grown so weary that it cannot hold
anything else. It seems to him there are
a thousand bars, and behind the bars, no world.
As he paces in cramped circles, over and over,
the movement of his powerful soft strides
is like a ritual dance around a center
in which a mighty will stands paralyzed.
Only at times, the curtain of the pupils
lifts, quietly. An image enters in,
rushes down through the tense, arrested muscles,
plunges into the heart and is gone.
...
So, I am anxiosly waiting for your visualised variation and feelings of this superb poem! Have a nice day, thank you!
