I prefer SCREENFLOW ( www.flip4mac.com/screenflow.htm ) but i tested SCREENIUM ( www.synium.de/products/screenium/index.html ) yesterday. looks nice small and easy. both not free but with some nice features. several audio & video sources, add your isight or webcam capture and record your voice ... etc. brilliant for making screencasts, howtos and so on.

for windows i know these:

- CAMTASIA www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
- SNAGIT www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp (mostly for screenshots = pictures, not video)
