oooooh, noooooo!! i'd be homeless without.
as for my activity: i just had some terrible weeks on the job, i imagine other people are thinking about their vacation now, or gone already.

I am busy renovating my new house and moving into it, so I only have little time to peek in from time to time. But after that, i will be more active again.
I agree with Lodchjo: its holiday time, people are in vacation or prefer outdoor activities instead of sitting in front of a computer ...
In autumn when the weather gets worse, this will change, and mpph rise from its summer sleep ;-)

i really hate when people just watch and say nothing, if they only watch there are a lot of dvds for that... i hate lurkers! they doing nothing good! i don't care about 2000 views, i care about people and i want to share with some the way i see the world. if someone can't leave even one comment (but is making me a contact) and then he/she is only lurking - it's just making me sick...
talent is what exactly? are we here for kissing arses and saying how wonderful we are or for sharing our point of view? i'm not an artist, not even photographer (because i know NOTHING about PHOTOGRAPHY and ARTS and EQUIPMENT) i just take pics and want to share my vision and in fact mpph was intended as a place for people that want to share... but pfffffffffffff if no? ok, but why they join and stay? why they don't go somewhere else? sharing is not only "post-and-run", sharing is commenting as well... *sigh*

there's place for many people here who experience Ipernity in different ways.
some find it not easy to meave comments and it's not easy - i know - to find to write something else than 'good', 'interesting', ... some don't find it easy to share their world view.
and: a if you publish a portrait of a kid, you'll get 100 reactions saying it's "cute", but more abstract, arty photos are harder to comment upon.
i don't think it's bad will. most often they share their own photos in modesty and that's enough for the sharing.
there's different ways to live it, i think.

i'm not "negative" i am HONEST and because i am this way, if people don't like it, they can remove me from contacts and don't bother me with lurking!!!! it's really pretty obvious... there is no duty to leave comments, but what the hell is the purpose of sharing then? pffffffffffffffff!!!

well, maybe i'm too naive or too tolerant?
i think that whenever you post photos on the net, you can't get controle over who sees your work.
you might consider restricting viewing permission only to YOUR contacts.
this way, even when people add you as a contact, they don't automatically see your photos, but then again, they won't be able to discover your work...

from all the group on Epernity I really like this one the most.
'cause it's silly and (used to be) lively.
It's is the only group I contribute in discussions too (sometimes) but I'm not much of a talker I'm afraid.
That being said, I agree with Lodchjo but with Melon as well; when you like something, you should let the other one know .
I'm sure this group will be lively again.

i'm still pretty much off-ip, somehow my life is not as photo-focused anymore, and i will have guests again so even less time for online activities. but because i am only 1 of 274 members and active members is maybe 5.... it's really a shame.
