Which one is the most beautiful city in China?

I live in Shanghai and i visited so far Suzhou, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau, Ningbo, Beijing, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Chongming. They are all quite different. I like the ancient China in Suzhou and Hangzhou, the harmonious mix (ancient and modern) in Beijing, and the Great Wall, Tian'anmen Square, ..., the difference of everything else in Macau.
Which city you prefer?

I prefer Beijing especially the alley walk in the city (some called it Hu Thong) and pub/bars around the embassy row at night.

Yepp Xian is great! Nice inhabitants, beautiful cityscape, quietly however no village. Its my favorit!

Guillin -For China a small city, with short ways. Tip " Pauls Steakhouse" in the pedestrian-zone for dinner. Steak for 45-77 Yuan in a nice surroundings.

Shanghai forget McDonalds! Also nice inhabitants, a lot of people speaks English and not just Guccibag

Best place to live in china is Shenzhen. I have been to many many many places in china and yet for living it has to be shenzhen as you have any kind of chinese food you like, any kind of shopping, next door to HK when you want to escape china and most of all the most beautiful girls in china (Shanghai a close second for girls). A close second for living is Xiamen and Guangxi for the scenary. Thats my 2 cents!!!

No meu entender eu gosto de Macau, grandes movimentos, uma cidade do futuro e moderna, também porque em tempos estive lá, e assim que possa voltarei. Na China apenas viajei a Sul até Cantão.
In my mind I like Macau, large movements, a city of the future and modern, because at times I was there, and so that it can come back. In China only viagei the South to Canton

My favourite is Shanghai, which in a certain way reminds me very much of Paris due to Shanghai's sensuality, sexuality, and the very varied gourmet scene. I also like Beijing which in turn reminds me of Berlin with its expanse, underground art scene and very eccentric artistic community. Then again, I've only visited a handful of places in China.

I'm from Foshan, a city in Guangdong Province, near Guangzhou(Canton). Although I'm now studying in Beijing, I don't like it so much as I like Foshan, Guangzhou and Hongkong. Anyway, the air in Beijing is really bad, and the dust and sands... I prefer southern cities.

I'll add to Xiamen, but I find places as Zhuhai or Mianyang not too bad neither, especially if you're not into the tourist trap spots. Mianyang I must mention I visited before this year's disaster.
