Thank you for joining, my friends. I think the purpose of this group is straightforward: to look at and to discuss about black and white photography and techniques.

To start the life of this group we need an icon.

So post in this thread shots or images you feel appropriate to represent it, 50x50.

Well for the icon contest, I'd suggest Rodos image El Tango because of its beautiful simplicity and beauty.

well, the image is OK but it loses a lot of its charm when small, even the 75x75...
the face profile disappears...

IMO the thumb-size doesnt work with "El Tango"(#1), though its a very good shot of course.
