normally doc.search should do the work. What makes you think you only get a limited subset of your documents?
I'll open a new method "doc.getList" next week that will do the work.
btw, the shell script API kit is more a joke because it's very limited and results are hard to parse. But if you're a shell hacker it should work.

I think that means, you'd only give the parameters api_key and user_id and should be able to access all your docs ...
