I know something about the TIANANMEN SQUARE 1989.But I think that event is different from the Lhasa riot.19 years ago,Student's original intention is good. They deeply love their motherland, and hoped that he can be prosperous. But they are used by someone who harbor ulterior motives.
Now,what are the "Tibetan independence members" doing? They beating, looting,killing.......Do you know these? If you were in Lhasa on March 14th,you won't think they are peaceful protestors. Do you see the Lhasa's streets houses after event?People's life and property security has encountered the enormous destruction. They are not people who love peace. Please think it carefully,in your country,if someone in someplace want to be independent, what would feel? Will you support them?I'm afraid you won't.I know you love your country, but it's the same that we love our country. Tibet is part of China. The history has showed enough evidence.Every country has its Territory and the result is made by history. It's no doubt that Tibet is part of China. Please respect the reality and history.
I think between your westerners and our Chinese has the very big misunderstanding. For many years we regard Ideology as the only Standards to distinguishes all.But the present world is different .Peace and the development are the world subjects .What we need is harmonious coexistence and mutual development. The time needs us to understand each other and help each other, not to attack or slandering each other. Each country has its own issue, and it should be solved by the country itself. There should be no interference by other country. We should respect the fact and reality and sincerely stretches out the hand of aid to other country. We should promotes the understanding and eliminates the hostility.I wonder if you all understand what I have said.
I'm a person who love world peace. If we both hope this world to be more harmonious, why not abandon the prejudice? The Internet has provided the very good platform for us to communicate with other.Very glad to talk to you.Hope between us there will be less conflict.......and more cooperation......
no more words right !!!
One of the biggest problems is to keep relying on the past to guide our dessicsions and actions for how to progress in the future; If we are to go forward we must give the future breathing space and not clog it up with the past.
Lets put this into perspective; All around the world there are countries that are basically "in the shit" having been reduced to ecological and socio-political messes from regimes/governments/BAD ADMINISTRATION. There are many people who are displaced, angry and oppressed. There are also many people whose only motive is self aggrandisement, who don't care about their fellow man/woman and who will even go as far as support administrations who exploit people to work and provide services for the select few. Taiwain being a very good example of this as is N. Korea. Do these workers have the opportunity to travell the world whenever they want to? in luxuary and eat the best food that the world has to offer?
If the answer is no then there is a massive unbalance in privelages. Worse still if they were penalised if they do not work hard or long enough.
The earth has been ransacked as can be seen by the deforrestation of the rain forrest, and the depletion of the ozone layer. These problems are here today and WE are going to have to sort it out, maybe because we are the only ones who care.
I care about my friends too and i have some Tibettan friends and i will not sit back while they are being dissplaced/beaten/culturally insulted.
Simple as that.
Good weapons are instruments of fear; all creatures hate them.
Therefore followers of the Tao never used them.
The wise man prefers the left.
The man of war prefers the right.
Weapons are instruments of fear; they are not a wise man's tools.
He uses them only when he has no choice.
Peace and quiet are dear to his heart.
And victory no cause for rejoicing.
If you rejoice in victory, then you delight in killing;
If you delight in killing, you cannot fulfill yourself.
On happy occasions precedence is given to the left,
On sad occasions to the right.
In the army the general stands on the left,
The commander-in-chief on the right.
This means that war is conducted like a funeral.
When many people are being killed,
They should be mourned in heartfelt sorrow.
That is why a victory must be observed like a funeral.
maybe it is to be remembered time for China
