Theme: will vary from month to month
The theme will depend on the following month (when the picture will be shown) and vary with the seasons, etc. (in agreement with the Team Ipernity)
How to participate:
Apart from the theme the entries have to match the following specifications. This is due to the fact that the frontpage pictures all represent ipernity in a way.
- landscape orientation and aspect ratio close to 3/2 (at least 560x373)
- the picture has to have no frame, no visible watermarking, no copyrights mention or signature inside the picture
(these two rules are necessary to keep the look of the frontpage "clean")
- you must be the author and must have all authorizations (for
instance from models...)
- you have to publicly share the picture
(these two rules are a legal necessity, since picture might be published on the frontpage)
- Only one picture per member
(there will be a contest every month, so you'll have enough chances to participate)
- no nudity
(nudity isn't accepted in every country)
The specifications above have to be met. Otherwise your picture will be removed.
- ideally the picture must have a title
(it can then be displayed on the frontpage as well)
- ideally, Creative Commons licensed
(The Team supports the use of Creative Commons.)
- the picture must serve ipernity services and brand
(Ipernity is a brand, so they have to care how they apppear in public. This is how they want to present themselves. I know this restricts your freedom of artistic expression but you gain the chance to appear on the frontpage. When voting you should keep this point in mind along with the theme)
These specifications should be met. Especially the last specification also might cause a removal.
You should keep these specifications in mind when voting.
Post your picture in "medium" size in the according thread (Don't post it to the group pool, that is for winning pictures only). Please include a number (beginning with #1) and the title in your post.
When the contest is closed there will be time for every group member to vote. You may vote for three pictures. Your first vote will receive 3 points, the second 2 and the third 1 point:
#x - 3pts
#y - 2pts
#z - 1pt
The winning picture will be in the pool of frontpage pictures for the next month and will be shown for one week.
The first three pictures are invited to the group pool and will be displayed for one month on the group page.

Je suis désolé, je répond à l'invitation, mais ne comprends pas la moitié de ce que l'on raconte, je ne comprends pas la nécessité de prendre une licence créative commons, la législation sur les droits d'auteur est déjà pleinement satisfaisante. (oui, c'est ce genre de subtilités qui m'échappent).

It's not a matter of CC licenses. I don't know about the license because I can't see the picture in the author's photostream, because it is not public!
I understand this rule is violated by this participant.
Somehow I didn't have this point in my mind (Too many 4:3 posts Igues.
