I administered a group at Flickr that was of men called "Hunks". I inherited the group because I had quite a few images posted.

Soon after, images of nude men and what I would call "Meat" market photos of men started showing up. I have no problem with a man's sexual orientation. What people do to enjoy each other is fine by me.

I want this group to be about ALL men , not just gay men. Therefore, I have restricted submissions to review before posting. Gay men will not be excluded but will not be the main focus of the group. I hope you all understand the reasoning behind this setup.

Strange thing is, you prohibit "nudity", but some pictures on the current page show nude men.

I don't think there's any problem in nudity, but the rules and the pictures "differ" somehow. Maybe you should consider re-formulating the rules, only prohibiting "sexual oriented nudity" or something (my english is not good enough to formulate this more properly, but I hope I was able to explain what my point is).

In fact, when you asked me posting my picture of the observatory, I immediately understood that this group might be more about those fancy little "behaviours" men tend to show in the real world, like, enjoying those strange things (fly fishing, astronomy, randomly goggle at girls on the street) - what makes men "men", essentially. You know, that funny stuff OTHER than war.

When I saw the current entries, though, there was a short "drawing back", because my initial thoughts when looking at the pictures where exactly what I had feared. Especially because rules and pictures seemed to differ quite a bit. "Great, another group with naked/posing man pictures. Would my friends in my own picture like to be part of those?".

Looking around, digging deeper into the group, I noticed that your focus in this group is much more what I hoped, not what I feared. It's all NOT about naked man.

It would be very nice to have a place for such "other" pictures of men, those funny ones. So I posted my own - now let's see how the group develops.
