Introduction to Orton technique

Orton photos are generated by the overlay of two images of the identical scene. To achieve this, one image is sharply focused and over exposed while the other one is very out of focus and over exposed.

Here you can find some useful introductions to the Orton technique:

Dont' worry, I've created this group just yesterday. As far as I know there are no other groups here at Ipernity with respect to the Orton technique and I thought this wonderful technique is worth for an own group.

There is also a script for applying an Orton effect on a single shot under GIMP: registry.gimp.org/plugin?id=9252
