I think we need a group posting strike.

I'd have a suggestion. When your on a picture and click on the groups button a multiple choice list of all your goups opens either in a new window, or I'd prefer below the picture before the comment field. It could be in two maybe three columns. That way hundreds of groups could be displeayed (preferably in alphabetical order). Then you can just check all the groups that you wish the picture to be added. After that you click OK and (internally) one by one the pictures are added and (only if necessary) messages for the groups with problems arte displayed. Then the list disappears.
I think that would make it really easy and quick to add a new picture to several groups.

Yea, thats better. But again here that crude group sorting. Why it is so difficult to call a collection sort? I would be also so happy about a filter, typing "a", getting, say 3 groups, starting with A (or a or á) , selecting, it, ready. Pleeeease change the sorting in this lab function and I will be a all time user!

An greasemonkeyscript for this page would be nice...

What I have in mind is to add a search bar in the albums/groups photo menu, just like the member tag autocompletion. Will this fit the need?
After that, we will think about a multi-doc multi-group post tool.
ideas and layouts are welcome.

Related question: I found a limitation of the Picasa button --> only a limited number of groups are shown...

Yes, this fiter woud be the soution!

I agree that adding this way is not optimal. Even worse the names are cut to a very short length, I would estimate that more than half of my subscribed groups are longer than what can be displayed.

Also it would be nice to submit from the group page (similar to Flickr) multiple images. Starting doc manager, finding the group and than submitting is rather complicated (count clicks).

BTW: The current menue system doesn't work on Opera Mini if you have to scroll. Scrolling is not possible.

Still this is one of the most annoying things. Uploading is really complicated. I have to search groups (in no order I do understand) on four "pages" before submitting a picture. Also it is not possible from a group to upload (DocManager is not a comfortable workaround). That worked much nicer at Flickr.
