Importat contacts from Flickr, e-mail

There's a way to import your photos from Flickr, but as more and more people migrate from Flickr to ipernity it would be great if you could also automatically check the nicks of your Flickr contacts against the nicks of all the members here, and add them to your network here if someone has the same nick as someone in your network at Flickr! I've checked manually some times, and found a few, but that's such a hazel.

Also a way to import contacts from your e-mail like Twitter have would be great!

Yes, this is an interesting feature. It should be soon possible with the ipernity API. :-)
For the moment, a way to quickly check who is on ipernity is to go to www.ipernity.com/invite/from
There you should be able to add lots of contacts quickly to your network.

Ah, I had forgotten that feature. But there's one major flaw with your import contacts from email feature; Instead of checking first who are already registered (as Twitter does), and then let you send an invitation to the rest, your import tool does it the other way around; you have to choose to send an invite to someone before it checks whether that person is already registered or not. That makes me not use that tool, because I don't want to spam all my contacts with an invitation just to see if they're already registered! I hope you will change the order of action!

If you use the page: www.ipernity.com/invite it tells you afterwards that someone is already on ipernity.

If you use the page: www.ipernity.com/invite/from it displays all your email addresses showing who is already on ipernity and who is not. On this page, you can then decide to send an invitation or add the member to your network. I think it already works the way you expect it! :-)
