They did it in flickr ... max. 90 secs and they called them "long photos" ... not a bad name :-)

although 'long' adds a temporal dimension, which could be nice :o) I wouldn't stress on that. I'm more interested in providing sound to the still frame "short" photo (there is always at least some background noise).

so I'm going to call them "sonant photos" ... like the vocal fish:
