COMBO / Discussions

Da mein Englisch ziemlich schlecht ist, ich aber diese interessante Frage nicht an mir vorüber gehen lassen möchte:

Für mich ist eine Combo kryptisch, wenn sie mehr Rätsel aufgibt als Erklärungen abgibt, wenn Bildinhalte kombiniert werden, die gemeinsam so etwas wie eine schwer zu entschlüsselnde Metapher bilden, also das Ganze in die Nähe eines "fotografischen" Gedichts rückt, bei dem dann eben auch Ahnungen, Gefühle, Assoziationen die Faszination ausmachen.

Freut mich, dass dir die Idee gefällt. Und noch ein kleiner Nachtrag zum Kryptischen: Mit "escape" hast du ja in diesem Sinn einer Combo ein sehr anschauliches Beispiel geliefert und die comments belegen dies.

Oh, sorry, my Englisch is bad. But with a little help of a translation-mashine (Attention!). The central theme:

For me a Combo is cryptical if it gives up more riddles than declarations, if screen contents are combined, that form together something like that as a metaphor (deciphered heavily), moves the whole into the proximity of a "photographic" poem, at which also presentiments, feelings, associations define the fascination.

is good example for a cryptical combo.
