I am sorry to say that I have not seen too much interest in this group as evidenced by only two replies received to the inquiry about ideas to make the group a livlier one. I will consult with Annjin, the other group administrator and reach a decision soon and inform everyone. Unfortunately I don't have the energy nor the time to spend on a dumping-ground for photos. If you are really and seriously interested in critique and in participating in such a group let me know personally and I will consider starting another such group which be restricted to those who are serious about critique.
Sorry for being blunt but that the way it goes.

Just to clarify, I've mailed Aref to say I agree in his decision. A critique group is first & foremost a discussion group. Admins and a few dedicated members cannot keep this group going, some interest and initiative are required from other members too. This is not the case with this group, even from hard work from a few here to initiate debate and discussion.

Lets shut the doors.

Ah .. being blunt feels good ;D

Alright. Here you have it folks. I will delete this group by Saturday. If you would like to remove your posts or whatever you will have until Sat morning--would be mid afternoon in Europe.
Yes being blunt feels good.

I'm sorry for this decision, but I totally support it :-((
Too much groups, too few activity and I feel one of the culprits...
Perhaps blogs were a better dimension for this kind of discussion

Roberto, you've tried to take part and I've never seen you as a culprit of anything :)

You might be right, perhaps blogs are better. I don't know. I quit all groups because I feel bad about sending pics and never have the time to participate nor initiate discussions... Oh well. Iper is changing, so must we ;)

Roberto, you should not feel as a culprit at all. There are about 90 people in the group and those who have participated in discussions are probably 10 at the most and you are among those people who did participate. I wasn't too hot on the idea of groups tp begin with because I saw what groups are like on flickr. Oh well. Thank you Roberto and if I make a small restricted group you will certainly be invited.
