Check if your photo qualifies for Bokeh

As some users are a little uncertain about if there photo is a bokeh-shot and qualifies for this group, this discussion thread is ment as a "Post it or not?"-Zone.

You do not have to post your photos here, before posting into the group, it just for users that aren't sure if their pics qualify.

Please leave your photo in this thread- even if you get a "doesn't fit". This gives other members the possibility to have kinda educational informations (possitive and negative).

Hopefully this will help to keep the pool filled with only the finest bokeh here at Ipernity :-)

(Post a maximum of 3 pics in a row at medium size only please)

Have fun!

After reading your explaination, I tried my self to apply them on some of my shots: can these qualify as bokeh?

Roberto, w/o looking at the "large" version, I can tell you that these are two awesome examples of Bokeh. Nice work :)

Since I altered the contrast and saturation of this picture quite a lot I wonder if this still qualifies as a bokeh-shot for this group.

And no, I didn't paint anything or used unsharp masks or any such things.

A Doomshammer replies:
Hi Paul, though the blur is a bit harsh (so the amount of bokeh is a little bit slighter) this will qualify as bokeh shot.

There is slight bokeh in that shot- but a little bit too less for this group :)

What about this photo?

A Doomshammer replies:
The photo definately has some bokeh. Even though the "sharp" section in this picture is bigger, this photo would qualify.

Click on the magnifying glass below the image when you see the HTML code. Copier him paste it into posts. Behind the HTML code you still need to send a signal, otherwise it does not work

A Doomshammer replies:
Yes, slightly. The bokeh in the background is there, but it does not match with the 1/5 group rules. Anyways very nice shot!
