It's really difficult to capture close up and macro images when it's windy, but you've done a super job here Isabel.

The detail in the the flower is wonderful...............and I see a tiny bug and a bee burrowing around in the petals. I also like the out-of-focus background.

I've never seen a thistle with yellow petals before!

It is very hard indeed and this Summer is going to be a windy one, seems so. Our wind comes North-West and is warmed by the arid plains of the Alentejo before arriving to my village, one of the hotest in the country. It feels like if you are in front of an open warm oven pulsating air to you: it dries instantly anything... Some days in July we can reach the 50ºC, last year we had 52ºC one afternoon...
