It's relatively cool in my garden at the moment.......around 26 degrees C. We're expecting the heat to ramp up tomorrow and Monday with Tuesday being the hottest with temperatures possibly reaching 40 degrees C. That's very unusual for the UK, but probably about normal for you in Portugal ;-)

Normal indeed, but the abnormal is the too strong hot wind (we always have it but less intense) and the fact that it rained less than 30% during rain season...

I've been following the news about wild fires in Europe, especially Spain and Portugal. I feel really sad for the people involved........and the the wildlife too.

............and still people deny that global warming exists :-((

Schönes Foto. Hier ist zum Glück keine Hitzewelle. Im Gegenteil amTag kaum über 20 Grad und Nachts nur gut 10 Grad. Nachdem wir das trockenste Frühjahr aller Zeiten hatten, wird nun wohl zum Mähdrusch wieder pünktlich die Regenzeit beginnen. ;-)

Lucky for you, hope you will have it on the right time. Here we have to wait at least until October... if rain comes !

Nein, der Regen ist zu spät, wir haben erhebliche Schäden im sechsstelligen Bereich auf den Feldern und Wiesen. Die Energiekriese verteuert die Produktion, neue Maschinen und Ersatzteile können nicht geliefert werden wegen den Coronafolgen aber immerhin sind die Preise für unsere Produkte gestiegen. Das wird aber keinesfalls die Verluste und Mehrkosten ausgleichen. Im ersten Halbjahr fehlen hier fünfzig Prozent der Niederschlagsmengen. Und das zum zweiten Mal in fünf Jahren. Aber noch hält mein Betrieb das aus.

Hope next year will be better for you and all… my friend shepherd also suffered a lot this year, no water, had to go further to find paste… but he is selling at increased price so losses minimized, but…

A lot of people appreciate that view at the moment, Monday/ Tuesday they are expecting to record the highest ever UK temperature ( nothing compared to yours )

We will still have ours till mid-August, but normal.
Hope it will end soon for you and you will be back to normal temperatures...
